I read Robert Dessaix's novel Corfu for the title alone. It was referential for me since Lawrence Durrell and his family had lived there when he was a young man. Durrell is another of my favorite authors. After reading Corfu I was in love with this author's writing. I had never heard of him, although in Australia he is widely known and acclaimed.
